We started our trip in London.  We were in London for a week (including a daytrip to St. Albans), then took a train to Bath.  In Bath, we rented a car and after I got used to the idea of driving on the wrong side of the road and the wrong side of the car (not to mention learning to shift the manual transmission with my left hand), we left Bath for Salisbury.  From Salisbury, we drove to Portsmouth.  Then, we went to Battle, and from Battle to Rye.  Our next stop was Dover, then on to Canterbury.  From Canterbury, we went to Leeds and Windsor before heading back to London's Heathrow airport for the flight home.

Our general trip is lined in red.  The towns that we visited that don't appear on this map can be found on maps below.

Battle is about 5 miles inland from Hastings, near the English Channel.

Rye is about 30 miles northeast of Battle, about 10 miles inland from the English Channel.

Leeds is just south of Maidstone.

Windsor is about 10 miles from London's Heathrow airport.
